Cat Rabbit is a textile artist based in Naarm/Melbourne. Using felt, recycled and vintage fabrics, Cat hand stitches plush sculptural works of her imagined characters and the worlds they might live in.
Her work translates to many formats—from children’s books to large scale felt installations to magazine editorials—always with the aim of bringing softness and warmth to the viewer.
Create your own adorable hand-sewn felt friend with artist Cat Rabbit. Cat will be teaching us to make the apple trinket from her forthcoming book, Trinkets.
This workshop is suitable for beginners, ages 14+. The ticket price includes all of the materials you’ll need. Buy a book and ticket together save $5 (Trinkets RRP $29.99).
