Rebel with a Cause
As you’d expect, this is a candid memoir that isn’t backward in coming forward. Jacqui Lambie has always stood out from the mainstream of Australian politicians. During her time in Parliament she was the most authentic, heartfelt and unscripted voice in the Senate.
Jacqui’s autobiography traces her life from a young girl in Tasmania, her decade in the army, her enforced medical discharge, the trials of single motherhood and, ultimately, her time in politics.
Joining Jacqui in conversation will be Senior Lecturer in Political Science at the University of Tasmania, and Director of the Institute for the Study of Social Change, Professor Richard Eccleston.
Join Jacqui and Prof. Eccleston at Fullers Bookshop, 131 Collins St, Hobart.
