Love Your Bookshop Day is an annual celebration of everything that makes local bookshops special—from knowledgeable staff and handpicked book selections to fun events that bring authors, readers, and stories together.
Join the festivities! Bookshops around the country will be hosting exciting events, competitions, and activities to bring the joy of books and reading to life. Come along and discover all Fullers Bookshop has to offer—meet authors, find new reads, and be part of a community that shares your love of books!
Love Your Bookshop Day 2025 at Fullers will have entertainment for all ages. There will be treasure hunts, competitions, prizes, special offers, and a visit from a renowned author to name just a few!

* Libro FM Golden Ticket
Hidden amongst the stacks will be one Golden Ticket, granting one lucky shopper one year of free Libro Audiobooks (one audiobook per month)!
@librofm is our preferred audiobook service; it lets you listen to wonderfully narrated titles while driving, walking the dog, exercising, etc. and at the same time you will be contributing to your local book shop and NOT to some big Earth-ruining corporation.
* Kids’ colouring competition
Bring the kids in to have a scribble. We will have colouring sheets featuring illustrations from the newly released children’s book Bear to the Rescue written by Nic Gill and Romane Cristescu, and illustrated by Sylvia Morris:

Adults can prepare their works at home and bring them into the shop from 8:30am Friday, October 10th until 4pm Saturday, October 11th. Get crafty for your chance to win a $150 Fullers Bookshop voucher!

With any book purchased during Love Your Bookshop Day, you will be given a voucher for a free hot drink, redeemable at the Afterword Café! (One voucher per customer, redeemable only during Love Your Bookshop Day 2025).

We are going back in time and welcoming Robbie Arnott (@robbie_gc_arnott) back as a Fullers Bookseller for the first time since 2013-ish to give recommendations, sign books, and probably not use the till. Robbie will be here between 11am-1pm, Saturday October 11 so get in early for all the fun.
