The Port Arthur massacre was one of Australia’s darkest days. Walter Mikac was one of the many people whose lives were upturned by this terrible event, losing his daughters, Alannah and Madeline, as well as his wife. One year later Walter launched the Alannah & Madeline Foundation.
Letters of Love was created by the Foundation with the aim of sending messages of love and support into the community. Featuring more than 50 celebrities and public figures writing about love in all its shapes and sizes – from romance to platonic love, familial love to a love of music, nature or social media – Letters of Love is a delightful and life-affirming testament to the power of the human spirit.
Join Walter Mikac, Melissa Doyle and Dan Jackson for the launch of Letters of Love at Fullers Bookshop.
Tickets are free but booking is essential as places may be limited.
