From Australia’s enormously popular and only marsupial Walkley award-winning cartoonist comes The Carbon Neutral Adventures of the Indefatigable Enviroteens, a hilarious environmentally-friendly on stage adventure, premiering at the Theatre Royal in April.

Our superheroes – a marsupial,  a hybrid monotreme, and a nervous sourdough baker – unite as the Enviroteens – a planet-defending, earth-loving, ever-determined and entirely loveable pack. These three have a mighty job on their hands as they work to save the world from an army of sinister, conniving, evil and polluting villains. But can they save the whole world?

Packed with humour, science and battle jokes, Enviroteens is an uplifting show that runs from 19-29 April, and includes three schools shows as part of the season. It is sure to spark timely conversations between kids and adults.

First Dog on the Moon is the award winning political cartoonist for The Guardian Australia. Mr Onthemoon has written and illustrated various books, illustrated numerous others, performed live on stage in a number of shows and is currently working on more exciting projects than you can poke a stick at – including another book!

First Dog will be in conversation with Director Ben Winspear and Producer Marta Dusseldorp, from Archipelago Productions, who have brought the Enviroteens characters from page to stage.

Join First Dog, Ben and Marta at the Afterword Cafe.
