 This is Deborah Thomson’s story, a tale of a life lived in a cycle of hope, fear and pain, of a marriage that was more like a prison sentence that lasted seventeen years.

 Ultimately, though, it is a story of survival and courage in which Deborah found the inner strength to save herself and her children.
