For his fifth book of poetry, Tasmanian poet and former Classics academic, Graeme Hetherington, turns his eye to his island state’s colonial past, examining the reverberations of that time that continued throughout his childhood in the ‘40s and ‘50s, with a focus on Tasmania’s West Coast where the poet grew up.
