The Theatre Royal is proud to present Oedipus Schmoedipus by post.
Fed up with white men staging the deaths of white men in plays written by white men, the white ladies of post have pirated the classics to confront the great unknown. Oedipus Schmoedipus is about death: real death, fake death, and the Western theatrical canon.
Post take being silly very seriously, and have a real commitment to innovation. post is co-directed by Mish Grigor, Natalie Rose, and Zoe Coombs Marr. Mish and Shelly will be joined by Tasmanian writer, producer and actor, Robert Jarman, to discuss how this production was written and developed.
Oedipus Schmoedipus will be on at the Theatre Royal April 6 & 7.
Join Mish, Shelly and Robert at Fullers Bookshop.
Tickets are free but booking is essential as places may be limited.
