Shared Reading Group

Shared reading groups are another Fullers Bookshop experience. We have previously enjoyed James Joyce's Ulysses, Chaucer's Canterbury Tales, Seamus Heaney's Poems, Dante's Inferno, T.S. Eliot's The Wasteland and Other Poems, and the poetry and plays of WB Yeats.

To Prospective Reading Group Members

Thank you for your interest in our Reading Groups at The Afterword Café at Fullers. There are eight book discussion group meetings each month (with the exception of December and January).

As a member of a book discussion group you will need to read the book chosen for the month’s discussion. Before you come to a discussion, please let us know which group you plan to attend. While it is our intention to be as flexible as possible, we do need to know which of the groups best suits your schedule. We would prefer that groups be limited to 10 people each.

The discussions generally run between one and a half to two hours and take place in the Afterword Café at Fullers. There are no joining costs – the only costs are the cost of the book which we ask you to purchase at Fullers and the cost of refreshments from the Café.

And, finally, these are discussion groups – there are no papers and you do not have to contribute to the conversation if you do not want to – just listening is fine.

Please let me know if you would like to come to one of our discussions.
