The 2012 Reading Groups commence in the first full week of February. Each month there are five sessions:
- 9:30am on Monday mornings;
- 7:00pm on Monday evenings;
- 7:00pm on Wednesday evenings;
- 3:30pm on Friday afternoons; and
- 2:30pm on Saturday afternoons.

These sessions are usually held in the first (full) week of each month. The discussions generally run between one-and-a-half to two hours and take place in the Afterword Café at Fullers Bookshop Hobart.
